Graphics Workstations — The Imaging Facility is equipped with two graphics workstations available for 3D image analysis and deconvolution. The main deconvolution workstation uses Dual 2.4 GHz Intel Xeon processorswith 2Gb of RAM. The backup workstation uses a 2.0 GHz Pentium 4 processor with 1GB RAM. Each is equipped with a VolumePro 1000 3D volume rendering accelerator card.
There is also a Dual 550 MHz Pentium III workstation at the OUHSC cytometry core facility in BSE 310.
High Resolution Printing — The Imaging Facility is equipped with a Fujix Pictrography 3000 printer. Using Thermal Development and Transfer this printer is capable of very high resolution prints in monotone or color. The facility also has several inkjet and dye-sublimation printers for use.
3D Solid Modeling — The ZCorp Z402 3D color printer is available for generating solid 3D models from confocal or MRI data sets. Click here for more details from the Zcorp website.
